Bobby Isaac won the 1970 Cup Series championship with 11 victories that year, a dominant campaign that placed the Catawba, North Carolina native alongside the greatest drivers of his generation. Isaac ran the No. 71 Dodge for Harry Hyde, and together they formed one of the most potent driver-crew chief combinations of the late 1960s and early 1970s.
