Justin Haley

Justin Haley shocked the NASCAR world in 2019 when he won the rain-shortened Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona at just 20 years old, becoming one of the youngest Cup Series winners. The Indiana native competed full-time in the Cup Series for Kaulig Racing before the team scaled back its Cup program.

About Justin Haley

Justin Haley owns one of the most improbable wins in modern Cup Series history. In July 2019, at just 20 years old and making a spot start, he inherited the lead at Daytona when rain ended the Coke Zero Sugar 400 early, and the kid from Winamac, Indiana was suddenly a Cup Series race winner. Lightning-in-a-bottle jokes miss the larger truth: Haley is a genuine superspeedway specialist. He won at both Talladega and Daytona in the second-tier series in 2020, added another Daytona victory there in 2021, and had already won three Truck Series races in 2018, including at Gateway and the Canadian Tire road course. Haley went on to run several full-time Cup seasons before returning to the Truck Series with Kaulig Racing in 2026, resetting a career that has always been better than its detractors allow. Wherever the draft matters, he matters, and the sport learned long ago not to count out the quiet Indiana kid when the pack starts shuffling on the final lap.
