About Alex Labbe
Alex Labbe carried the Canadian flag into NASCAR's national ranks from St. Albert, Quebec, making himself a fixture of the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series garage across 163 career starts. One of the few Canadian drivers to compete regularly at this level, Labbe spent the bulk of his career with DGM Racing, wringing respectable finishes out of equipment that rarely matched the machinery ahead of him. His career day came at Charlotte in 2020, a fourth-place finish that still stands as his lone top five, and he backed it with eight top-10 finishes overall. Fittingly for a driver raised in Quebec's racing scene, some of his best work came when the series turned right as well as left, including top-10 runs on the Charlotte Roval and the Indianapolis road course. Labbe's career is a reminder that a border is no barrier to a determined racer: he arrived with modest backing, stayed on merit, and gave Canadian race fans a name to follow in NASCAR's national ranks every weekend.
