Taylor Gray has been racing grown-ups since before he could legally drive himself to the track: the Denver, North Carolina native made his Craftsman Truck Series debut as a 16-year-old in 2021, then climbed into the No. 54 Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series. The breakthrough came at Martinsville in 2025, when Gray converted his front-running speed into a first national-series victory, and he added another in the 2026 Kansas Lottery 300 to confirm the trajectory. The underlying pace has never been in question: Gray has stacked double-digit top-five totals in both the trucks and the second-tier series, and his qualifying speed has produced multiple poles along with more than 500 laps led in O'Reilly Series competition.
