Tim Richmond
Tim Richmond was one of the most naturally gifted and tragically short-lived stars in NASCAR history, winning 13 Cup Series races including a stunning seven-victory 1986 season with Hendrick Motorsports. Richmond was forced from racing in 1987 due to AIDS-related complications, dying in 1989 at just 34. His abbreviated career remains one of NASCAR's great what-ifs.
