Travis Pastrana arrived in NASCAR as one of the most famous action-sports athletes on the planet, and the Annapolis, Maryland daredevil treated stock cars with the same fearlessness he brought to motocross and rally. His main NASCAR chapter came in 2012 and 2013, a 42-start run in the second-tier series that peaked with a ninth-place finish at Richmond in 2013 and included three more top-10s that season at Daytona, Las Vegas, and Indianapolis. He never fully left. Pastrana has made occasional Craftsman Truck Series cameos across a decade and a half, from a 2012 Las Vegas start with ThorSport Racing to a Daytona run in 2026. The wildest cameo came in 2023, when he qualified for the Daytona 500 and finished 11th in NASCAR's biggest race, leading two laps along the way. Pastrana's stock car resume is a curiosity next to his extreme-sports empire, but it is an honest one: real starts, real top-10s, and the rare celebrity crossover who earned the garage's respect by racing rather than waving.
